Bibliography

Many books on the Aleutian Islands are hard to find because they were published in small editions. These may be available through interlibrary loans. This bibliography only pertains to material mentioned in the guides to subjects mentioned in Ivory and Paper.

The book that conveys Anna and Booker into the past is Dall’s On the Remains of Later Pre-Historic Man. This is available online: https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/58733#page/7/mode/1up

Another resource available on line is  Lost Villages of the Eastern Aleutians (2014) that Rachel Mason and I wrote in 2014. https://www.nps.gov/aleu/upload/Lost_Villages-final-508-3.pdf

Under “About Unangax̂” on this site I have provided links to Unangax̂ organizations with information about  history and culture.
